This classic pattern is still one of the best to imitate the bright green inchworm which dangle from the trees above the creek, then fall in.  Let it float as it will, and often, when it becomes water-logged and ducks just under the surface, trout and bream will snatch it up.

Hook: Mustad 94831, #12
Thread: 6/0 dark brown
Body: deer hair, color to match natural (chartreuse, olive, brown, yellow, tan, etc.)
Ribbing: Stren 8 lb. monofilament in Low-Vis green
Head: peacock herl
